Combining two of my favorite philosophies: live in the moment & do your best. You exist in the NOW, not in the past or the future. “Your best” will change from day to day, it will be different when you’re sick or in full health, when you’re happy, sad, inspired, challenged by projects or relationships, or feeling free & relaxed. And that’s ok. That’s perfect. (Taken with Instagram)
My darling rainbow country. Needless to say, summer in Kaua’i has been oh-so-magical.
I’ve been immersed in exploration / inspired by nature / jungle living / DIY crafting / cooking & gardening / drawing & painting.
And though I’ve always been drawn to the spiritual, supernatural, philosophical & the arcane, I’m only just now feeling ready to soar down that path fully, with courage; curious, inspired, intrigued & supported by the universe.
I’m on a journey to know myself better as an artist & a human being.
I can’t get enough of skulls & skeletons lately. I find them to be SO beautiful.
Arcane knowledge - witchery - magic/spirituality - life/death - ancestral strength.
This photo is enchanting/haunting.
Lately I have been practicing letting go of expectations. It is a wonderful practice. I truly believe that if you can dissolve all expectations you may have for yourself and your life, and of others, you will no longer be ruled by disappointment & dissatisfaction. Instead, the world will start to reveal itself to you in the most beautiful and unexpected ways. Your relationship with others will improve tenfold because you now have the ability to see them for who they are, not who you want them to be. In doing this practice, I have become overwhelmed by the sense that life is perfect, and that I am exactly where I should be. (Taken with Instagram)
Show me your garden and I shall tell you what you are.
These islands were unique, alone, apart, off the main stream of life, a secluded backwater of nature…or, if you prefer, an authentic natural paradise where each growing thing had its opportunity to develop in its own unique way.

It is from the awareness of the “now” that we can contact the inner source and access accurate information to gain knowledge concerning any issue at hand. The solutions to the great riddles of the universe lie within us. By extracting the distilled essence of the eternal moment we can have access to answers about our past karmas, present circumstances, and future events. All time exists in the neutral zone of the moment. When the mind becomes stilled and focused within, it is possible to see with the all-encompassing vision of the third eye and know the truth about oneself and the universe of which we are a part. — Katrina Raphaell, Crystal Healing Guru
